The role of religion

Many many years ago I had a chance to attend the church service for about a year.
Some one who had been attending the church with his son was eventually dead from cancer in several months.
A married couple was attending the church and one day they took their son with probably the last stage of jaundice. Soon after that they stopped coming.

It was much deeper than I thought the feeling people sought for religion.

Marriage & religion

In some religion a believer has to find a spouse in the same believers.  That makes easier to find a spouse. But once they got married they have to keep on follow the same way of life according to the religion. If one abandoned the belief, the two has to separate.

It seems true marriage lies in different place than religion.

Religion and tolerance

I think most important teaching in religion is being tolerant.Yet I found religious people are not tolerant.
They only accept the world according as they believe in.

They try to exclude other than what they believe.I want religious people to know what the essence of religion is.

Maybe it's possible because they are 'religious'
