Observation II

The number of poor people has been drastically increasing. On the eve of World War II just a handful of people were very rich and overall majority was very poor. Immediately after the War almost all people were just very poor, but now a few became very rich and overall others remain to be very poor.

Rich people start fighting with one another at the mercy of poor people.

  1. And yet, in much of the world, what we call "poor" today is vastly more luxorious than what would have constituted being "poor" 100 years ago, or 1000 years ago.

  2. Yeah, that's right. I used to encounter a number of shoe polishers and beggars when I was a kid. In the last world war many nations successfully consumed millions of people. They might have been the unemployed before the war but war gave them a job anyway. War successfully resolved a food problem, population problem, poverty, housing etc. by consuming just all. War was a panacea for many social problems, but we oughtn't to rely on war in the next generation. Because war might become not a resolution but an initiation, nullification, start from zero.
