Have you ever thought about the meaning of God is almighty?
If God is almighty, he can be outside the universe or inside, can be omnipresence or somewhere, he can banish himself so he can be nowhere at the same time. He can live forever and even be dead. Of course later he can resurrect himself. He can even bo back to the past.
God is almighty and God is omnipresence, both are different in expression, but in reality the former includes the latter in notion.
Is there any omnipotent being? That is the eternal theme humans keep on raising. Omnipotent being can banish himself. Under the notion of Almighty God even atheism becomes just one phenomenon of theism.

i uses the word "God is almighty" when i hav "no choice",when its my "the last resort" becos i havent meet God yet & i dont know what he/she looks like. & sometimes...i wondered if he/she can help me.... there are millions & myriads of things that i have no idea about. people says,God is manifested in the natural phenomenons like weather,natures wonders & catastrophes too...so i guessed ....he/she is very very powerful.thats what & how i would understand for the moment & will continue untill my 2nd last breath...trying to understand the meaning of "God is almighty" (& maybe i get tired & never bothers....)
ReplyDeleteI met a couple of people in my real life that claim God is Almighty and I've been just wondering do they really know the meaning of almighty?God is Almighty means as I pointed out in my article that God can do anything, and it's our turn to think what Almighty God can do.

ReplyDeletehi mercedo,thanks for reading what i wrote. in fact,when i write what comes out from my head,i am always anticipating the "unacceptable stand" from most readers.by being so "pessimist" on these kind of topics is good (you have to think far & deep to understand what i had just said).i think ,its always good/wise to feels & thinks like a fool when it comes to question/questions about ...you know. anyway,its a very good question to ponder.i sure loves to hear more from others..

ReplyDeleteThe problem is that whether he can or can't, he is not almighty. The concept "almighty" leads to paradoxes.

ReplyDelete'God is almighty' leads to this paradox, or inconsistency. If God dies, how can he resurrect himself? Usually we tend to think it's not likely that dead being can resurrect himself. Then religion suggests because God is almighty, he can do anything what is beyond our understanding. And also it wouldn't forget to claim furthermore that this paradox is the very reason God is almighty.
